How To: Backlighting.

Backlighting is the thing in photography these days & it's the thing because it makes 

for gorgeous photos.

And the cool thing is, getting good backlighting isn't hard – it's all about taking your photos at the right time.

What's the right time? About thirty minutes before sunset.

So, go outside about thirty minutes before sunset & put your subject right in the sunshine, facing away from it.

Try to shoot on manual and definitely don't use a flash – that will ruin it.

And then? Wah-lah. You should have the perfect backlighting.

It's an easy trick but makes a big difference.
