The elephant is a huge, beautiful creature, & it is becoming extinct because in many countries, the tusks and skin are worth more than the animal itself.
It's a sad fact.
During Christmas and New Years break, my cousin & his girlfriend visited Thailand. While they were there, they went to Patara Elephant Farm & their experience was amazing.
I'll let the pictures do the talking on that one.
Patara Elephant Farm works to ensure the safety of the Thai Elephant, different than the African Elephant, and educate people about them.
I think I'll add going to the elephant farm to my bucket list.
