Can't Keep Her Down.

Were you thinking I had the most boring of all weekends & thats why I didn't blog yesterday or today?

No way!

I actually had a super fun weekend but maybe it was too fun because I ended up in bed sick & asleep by 8:30 on Sunday night.

I didn't expect to be that sick so I didn't take my computer home but I ended up staying there 2 nights instead of one so I didn't get any blogging done.

But ya can't keep me down for long and I'm baaaaaaaccccckkkkkk!

My mom got tickets for The NFL experience downtown on Friday so she & I met up Friday afternoon & went. There were a lot of cool things to see & I bet it would be super fun if I were 10 but I didn't think it was worth the $25 for tickets. Luckily, we got them for free & my favorite part was hanging out with my mom all day.

We ate an early dinner at The Oceanaire, a really nice seafood restaurant downtown (that has the most amazing shrimp & crabcakes & I've been craving ever since), and then did some shopping.

A day with my mom, a nice dinner & new jeans?

After she left, I went downtown again with Ashley & Alli. We took a cab so we didn't have to park anywhere since parking is literally insane with the Super Bowl stuff & that was super nice & fun. I mean, it's not everyday you take a taxi. Okay, I get excited by the little stuff.

We walked around downtown, pushed up front at the free Bret Michaels concert & saw a streaker, streak & then get arrested. Not Kidding.

We had so much fun!

On top of the Super Bowl going on in Indianapolis, the Home Show is in town too.

My mom, my friend Nikki & her mom all went to the show on Saturday. I love going to see all the new gadgets that are out each year & especially to see the designer home.

It was fun to walk around with Nikki & our moms too.

Nikki & I got a dinner out of our moms before they dropped us off for a night of fun. And a night of fun we had.

We went to a dance party at a house & had a grand ole' time.

Nikki & Ashley hit it off right away ... love when that happens.

Apparently my body had, had it by Sunday because that's when I got sick. Oh well, at least it was fun getting there. Thanks for waiting until the fun was over, body.

How was your weekend?? I hope it was as fun as mine!
