I have yet to be bored & honestly doubt I will be all summer because there's just so much to do.
Whether it be planting flowers, doing yard work, cleaning the house or hanging out at the pool or lake, I love it all!
Yesterday was no exception.
I went to a workout class early in the morning called Rumba which was seriously hilarious.
It was taught by the cutest little hispanic lady who couldn't have been over 5' or more than 100 pounds and it was obvious that she loved what she was doing from the smile spread across her face the entire time.
We danced to Shakira & beyonce for an hour straight & yeah, I broke a sweat & it was super fun.
Post-workout I gave a dog a bath, hung out with Drew, went & got him some lunch & then got ready for & hosted a party at the boutique I'm interning at this summer.
Modeling one of the new dresses & Fedora
The party was a success even though only a few people came & we sold $506.06 worth of merchandise!!
$200 of that may or may not have been purchased by my mom but that's not important, is it?
I accidentally booked the party the same night as my friend Ali's birthday party so after I left the store, I rushed home to her party.
As usual, there was a wonderful spread of delicious food prepared by her dad & good company too. Just the type of party I love.
But by 10:30 I was absolutely exhausted & ready to leave the party (which when you're 19, is kinda embarrassing)
After I got home though, my throat started hurting pretty bad & I knew I was in for it.
I slept from 11 p.m. - 11 a.m. & woke up this morning with a pounding headache.
I did manage to make myself a ginormous blueberry pancake the size of a little omelet pan & even eat the second one I made for my dogs with the left-over batter.
& I did get the kitchen cleaned up & did some laundry but for the most part, I'm just laying around.
Laying around, unless it's in the sun by the pool with friends, is like my least favorite thing to do. I like to be busy & there's so much I wanted to do today in the yard.
But instead, I'm down with the sickness.
