Well here we are on McFatty Monday once again & I have both good news & bad news for you.
I think I'll start with the bad news, you know, to give you something good to look forward to.
The bad news is that I literally sucked at my diet yesterday. I did awesome the rest of the week. I stuck to 1,500 calories & I kept them on the spreadsheet religiously, but then yesterday happened. It was the Final 4 game & lots of partying happened. I ate half a pulled pork sandwich & chips, popcorn, a cookie from Starbucks & Jimmy Johns at Midnight. So yeah, I'm not even showing you the spreadsheet this week.
But there's good news!
.... My shorts fit again!! They're snug & they wrinkle in the legs, but they fit & I could wear them if it was warm enough. It's nice to know that even when I don't see results on the scale, my clothes are fitting again!
I learned that I'm severely out of Cardio-vascular shape this week. Wowza. I have got to work on it.
I lifted 3 times this week but I learned something. Did you know that you can't target tone? You can't. I get so frustrated that my arms are so strong but they're not defined & the same for my abs but you know, the truth is that I won't see any definition until I start doing a ton of cardio & get the fat off the top of my strong muscles.
So that's what I'm going to work on this week.
I'm still going to do the spreadsheet because I love it. I'm going to try to add more water & more fruits & vegetables & while I'm still going to lift, I'm going to focus most of my attention on Cardio because I think that's where I'll see the most results.
