Weekend Recap: We didn't make it to Chicago

Ashley & I were supposed to leave for Chicago Friday morning, but as the weather continued to decline, we finally decided not to go.

Chicago was expecting a ton of snow & maybe ice & both of our mom's were worried about it so we ditched the plan. But not without a fight. We considered the mega-bus, flying and uh, well, just about everything before we gave up. 

It was definitely sad that we didn't end up going, especially since the basketball team swept through the windy city with a winning streak, but we didn't let that stop us from a fun weekend, that's for sure.

Neither of us have class on Fridays so we went out Thursday night. I had more fun than I've had in a long time & hung out with all my best girlfriends. Since Ashley had gone back early & I didn't take my keys, I spent the night in the sorority house with my friend Alli. It was a nice little change up.

Friday, I decided to go home & hang out with my momma. We got our nails done, ate mexican & watched Courageous. If you haven't seen Courageous, you should. Like, now. It's so, so, so good with a million good lessons in it.

Saturday included watching the Butler game from the nail salon which I was not happy about ... you may have seen my tweets. Went to church & headed back to Butler. It was another fun filled night.

Yesterday was for being super lazy. Ashley, Erik & I (yeah, we're quite the trio) went to breakfast, deep cleaned this dorm room & I napped while they watched friends. Last night, we hit up the health center's hot tub & sauna & I went and worked out later.

My class schedule means that I have no class on Fridays & only one at one on Monday. I'm not sure how I feel about this. It may not have been the best idea. I'm a little bored. Maybe I'll get into the swing of things soon ...
