See these two? They're my besties. Well actually, it's my roommate & her boyfriend but I love them.
And they look pretty dapper & classy right??
Well don't let this picture fool you.
The "music" they listen to is terrible. Like sometimes I legitimately wonder if they morph into different people when we get in the car because the music they turn on is filth, my friends ... filth.
Like I'm pretty sure my grandma is turning over in her grave when that music comes on.
Not only do I feel like I need to give my brain a good scrub after I hear their "music" but I also get really sad because I wonder if they even know the good stuff. Like, what if they don't? What if they don't know all the stuff my momma & I dance to together??
So, I've devised a plan.
I'm going to make a playlist of 5-10 great songs, offer to drive them somewhere, and force them to listen to them. And listen good.
This is where I need your help.
What should I include on this playlist?? My only requirement is that the songs are from the 90's or later.
I feel like I haven't done my job if I let them go on thinking they're listening to good music.
I'm doing it for the children. Their future children. Whether they have children together or separately ... those kids deserve to have parents who know good music.
