I just recently learned what OOTD means (yeah, I'm a slow learner) and I'm pretty proud of the fact so I thought I'd use it.
Here we go ... yesterday's ... Outfit Of The Day ....
I know, I know it's a gross mirror picture taken on the iphone. Give me a break! Most of the pictures I post are pretty good.
Anyway, I got the inspiration for this outfit from Amanda & her What I Wore Wednesday Post.
Plus, I love cardigans so much, I'm pretty sure people are going to start asking where my kids are soon.
Cardigan - Target - $24.99
Tank - JCrew - last season so I'm not sure
Jeans - Target - last season but I'm sure they weren't more than $30 & they have some like them now
Boots - Kohls - around $50
(I didn't link to any of these because blogger is ridiculous & won't let me copy & paste links ... if you know how to fix this, let me know!)
Chelsea tweeted something yesterday like, "the next time I see someone pin an outfit with a single item that costs more than $300, I'm gonna explode." and I've felt the same way before.
Actually, I felt that way like 2 days ago when someone blogged about all the fall things they love, none of which were under $200.
Sure, if you want a pair of boots or a pair of jeans that are investment pieces, that you're going to wear for the next 5 years, you may want to spend a lot of money on them.
I wish I had the money to have designer everything but I don't and I don't know many people who do.
Have No Fear!
You can still dress cute and fashionably without having to take out a second mortgage ... this outfit is proof of that!
You can definitely do it on the cheap.
& while we're talking about pinning & I think your Thursday deserves some laughs, here are some funny things I'm loving on Pinterest.
& Maybe the most important of all, what I'm going to DRILL into my daughter's head from the time she leaves my uterus:

Love your pins.
I live in cardigans. I'd say I wear them about 4-5 days out of the week, and I'm kidless too.
everyone thinks jack is my child and i may have accidentally furthered that suspicion when i decided that he, too, needed a cardigan and v-neck. i wear cardigans practically everyday - have no fear! cardi pardi!
Cute blog! I totally agree with you on the topic of sharing outfits on your blog that cost a fortune. I do Thrift Tuesday posts with in style items that are reasonably priced and are available in the normal, everyday store!
