If I were a rich girl Part 2.

During high school, I had money.

I babysat, I got lunch money which I usually just saved & ate at home, & my gas was mostly paid for.

Everything I made I got to spend, pretty much.

HELLO COLLEGE.

things are much different these days.

I know I could get more money if I really needed it, but I don't. I can't justify asking for money for groceries when I'm already on the meal plan & I'm just buying them because sometimes it's more convenient to eat in my room. So anyway, all of the money I make pretty much goes to things like gas or food. Well, and presents. It seems like it goes, Christmas, Valentines Day, Mother's & Father's Day, Mom's Birthday, Drew's Birthday & the vicious cycle continues.

But just because I'm on a diet doesn't mean I can't look at the menu.

& these are the things on the menu for me ...

(the things I'd buy if I had the spare change)

What would you have if you were a rich girl ...

or maybe you are a rich girl, and in that case, I'm jealous.

I hear ya, Ali!

I feel like once I started college, I made pretty decent money, but I didn't spend it because I was saving for a car. HOWEVER, ever since I bought my little Civic all by my big girl self, I've also been getting the big girl car payment! Throw that into the mix of saving for an apartment of my own, and money tends to go in one direction or another! =]

Have a good day, lady! =]

Hmmm...there are just soo many things I would buy if I were a rich girl. I'm really wanting to redecorate my house. Maybe one day, I will win the lottery....but I'd have to start playing first!

Ugh I was the most brokenojoke in college, but I would always be looking online at the beautiful things I couldn't afford. And that LV bag would certainly have been on the list. Actually, let's be real, it's still on my list :)

Those TB sandals were my FAVORITE...and then they broke. But seriously, you can wear them with anything and dress them up or down. Sigh, I cannot spend another $195 on those...that was pre-kids

Happy Tuesday!

ugh - this is so my life! I feel bad spending money in college because I'm not making any. "But just because I"m on a diet doesn't mean I can't look at the menu." make me laugh out loud - love it! :)
