Cel-e-brate good times, come on

Sometime after we learn how to write our names and the training wheels come off our bikes, we forget to celebrate the little things; the small triumphs that make life sweeter.

Tonight, I reached 8 comments on my first ever Vlog and you know what?? I'm really freakin excited about that. I know some of you guys get 20, 30, or even 100's of comments every day, but not me. This is the first time I've ever gotten 8 people to say anything about something I've written & that my friends? is worth a celebration.

But just moments after I noticed that I had gotten my 8th comment and I felt a little cheerleader inside me come out, I felt the critic say that 8 comments is nothin' to be excited about. Obviously, the cheerleader stomped the critic, because I'm pumped, but it made me think about how often we all let the critic win. It made me think about how many little triumphs we all have every single day, but don't celebrate because we don't think they're "worthy".

Guess what people? They are.

You don't have to make the game-winning shot in a championship game to be proud of yourself.

So whether you're a college student who made it to class on time with a cute outfit on to boot, a workin' woman who got all of her emails read & answered before 9 a.m., or a momma who got her baby to daycare without wearing spit up as an accessory, be proud of your little triumphs.

They all add up to a total win.

I've said it before and I'll say it again... You are WONDERFUL! This post really made me smile. It's so true how often we forget to give ourselves pats on the back for the little things... Thanks for the reminder :) And CONGRATS on the 8 comments! That's something I would definitely get excited over, as well!
