I also have a lot of friends who were in different sororities at Butler!Caitlin Cavallarohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15410335055205465628noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-362083477762544112.post-32741396127956472002011-12-15T13:43:13.003-08:002011-12-15T13:43:13.003-08:00hahah! girl, I love this analogy! You are SOOO right! i blog for me and because I enjoy it - but you are right - I definitely want people to like me and follow me :) well you actually just earned yourself a new follower :) haha. In regards to rushing - be yourself! There are always going to be those fake girls out there but remember what is most important is finding girls you really click with. My sorority in college was not the most popular or the prettiest or the most cohesive, but I have the BEST FRIENDS on earth from my sorority that I would never have made otherwise! so choose wisely :) that one decision is going to affect your college years AND the rest of your life! :)
keep in touch!
PamPamelahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01242206776269992106noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-362083477762544112.post-56052474843112360892011-12-14T14:28:44.292-08:002011-12-14T14:28:44.292-08:00I never rushed, but I agree-- blogging is a lot mo...I never rushed, but I agree-- blogging is a lot more about wanting other people to like us (or our blogs) than I ever realized as a reader. And sometimes it feels like everyone else already belongs to this nebulous "blogger club," and it can be hard to tell if you're doing things right or well. At least with rushing you eventually get a very clear sense of who liked you! :)Harriethttp://thepostgraduateflail.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-362083477762544112.post-66392153264819952622011-12-14T12:00:09.601-08:002011-12-14T12:00:09.601-08:00I've never thought about it like that, but you...I've never thought about it like that, but you are TOTALLY RIGHT! As much as we do it for ourselves, I think it's just a natural feeling for the need to be accepted.
